LITTLE APPLE BUNDLES
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
A super crunchy short pastry hides a super creamy apple filling.
Filled biscuits are out of fashion? Who cares?
For the short pastry follow my biscuit recipe.
Ingredients for the filling:
Apples (medium size): 3
Cane sugar: 4 full spoons
Nuts: 1 handful
Grappa: 1 liqueur glass
Raisins: 1 handful
Salt: 1 pinch
How to do ITALIAN APPLE BUNDLES:
Soak raisins. Meanwhile, peel and dice the apples. Purée them with 3 spoons of sugar, nuts, grappa and cinnamon. Then add squeezed raisins.
Roll out the short pastry and make little circles. Put a teaspoon of filling on each.
Fold them in half. Spread the remaining sugar.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, 180° C.
