Ingredients for 4 portions of pasta with real pesto genovese

French beans: 200g

Extra-virgin olive oil: 2 spoons

Bavette pasta: 350g

Potatoes: 2-3

Pine nuts: 20-30g

Pesto: 4 portions

How to do italian pasta with real pesto genovese

Wash the French beans and boil them, then cut them into little strips. Now peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, boil them in plenty salted water and add the pasta in the same pot. Meanwhile, mix the French beans with the pesto and the pine nuts; if necessary, add a bit of water. Finally, sauté this mixture with strained potatoes and pasta.

Some tips

The dish will be tasty even if you don’t have French beans in your cupboard! Instead, pine nuts are the real secret for a great result.
